We miss you and our old house up in Cobb. Excited to enjoy the new facilities super soon. I'm looking forward to the old and new pools, but I miss the sauna, steam room, & the friendly folks the most. The wife is looking forward to the Hot "Hot" & Cold "Plunge".

Unfortunately, Harbin Hot Springs is now permanently closed due to the fire in Sept, and will be a long time before it is rebuilt and nature heals. I'm sure they are working on it! But for now, be aware Harbin Hot Springs is closed until further notice. We all look forward to it reopening and enjoying these waters again! I love hot springs and my next favorite Natural California Hot Springs is Mono Hot Springs on the west slope of the Sierra Nevada between Yosemite and Kings Canyon. This is as remote as you can get by car in the Sierras because no roads go all the way through here - so you find peace instead of crowds. They have a great restaurant, cabins and about a dozen natural hot springs some like "Little Eden" big enough to swim in! Not to be confused with Mono Lake on the east slope. This is the west slope. You go in at Madera or Fresno. I've spent 7 months up there at 6,500 ft with high Sierra views in the last three years and I can't wait for the snows to melt and get back up!

Harbin is one of my favorite places to escape and unwind. I just wish I lived closer! I love the number of pool options you have set at different temperatures. It is a very serene place and you are surrounded my nature. I only go for the hot springs and to camp in the spacious nature ground, but I've heard positive reviews of their yoga, meditation, massage and spa programs. Warning: it is a clothing optional hot springs so expect many naked people! :-)

A relaxing retreat for the mind and body. I came to really enjoy the fact that most of the pools are reserved for quiet reflection, since a lot of the hot springs I have visited before are much more social but don't allow for such a deeply relaxing and introspective soak. The hot pool was the hottest water I've ever been in! The weekend we went, it snowed, which was a truly memorable experience. Overall excellent place...beautiful location, reasonably priced and full of respectful, kind people.
